Issue and protesters are expected. Reporter San Francisco police chief has been advocating for the use of tasers for his officers for quite some time. They wont be used in every situation. They are a less lethal force option. There is some opposition to this a vote. I want you to see just across the way moments ago these are demonstrators who plan to make their voices heard before the vote in an hour. They believe that the use of tasers will be used disproportionately on people of color the homeless and the mentally ill. They are very worried about officers getting tasers into their hands.
