Closer Look: Two Notable Virologists Claim Unique Fingerprints On COVID-19 Samples Could Only Be Lab-Made

Former MI6 chief says any evidence of Wuhan lab-leak theory likely destroyed by China

Sir Richard Dearlove has said proving the theory that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was working on coronavirus experiments that would make the virus more deadly to humans will be difficult.

Chinese scientists created Covid-19: New study reveals absence of credible natural ancestor

China manhandling of Covid-19 As calls to trace the origin of the SARS-CoV-2 virus grow around the world, a new study, conducted by British professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr Birger Sorensen, claims that the virus was created in a lab and has “no credible natural ancestor”. The Daily Mail cited the study and reported that the virus was created by Chinese scientists who were working on a “Gain of Function” project in the Wuhan lab. The research, according to the report, claims that scientists took a natural coronavirus “backbone” found in Chinese cave bats and spliced onto it a “new spike”, turning it into the deadly Covid-19. The 22-page paper was published in the Quarterly Review of Biophysics Discovery.‘Gain of function” projects involve tweaking natural viruses in order to make them more infectious. They have been outlawed in the United States of America.

SARS-CoV-2 virus can only be traced to China s Wuhan lab: study

REUTERS/Danish Siddiqui Amid calls for a fresh probe into the origins of Covid-19, an explosive new study has found that Chinese scientists created the virus in a lab in Wuhan, then tried to cover their tracks by reverse-engineering versions of the virus to make it look like it evolved naturally from bats. The novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 virus has no “credible natural ancestor” and was created by Chinese scientists who were working on a ‘Gain of Function’ project in a Wuhan lab, the Daily Mail reported on Sunday, citing a new research paper by British professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr Birger Sorensen.
