IPL: Punjab Kings team members reach home ‘safely’, few quarantining outside India

New Delhi: Punjab Kings (PBKS) have informed that most of their players have reached home “safely” while few are quarantining outside India before they head back to their respective countries following the postponement of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The IPL governing council (GC) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in an emergency meeting on Tuesday this week unanimously decided to postpone IPL 2021 season amid the rising COVID-19 cases in the country.
The BCCI said the governing body will do everything in its power to arrange for the secure and safe passage of all the participants in IPL 2021.
