They say that the thieves were not able to get inside of both, but they also tried to get into the front of both of these stores. Now, as you just mentioned, police are investigating whether the breakins here are connected to another breakin on tryon street about 12 miles away. This is at north tryon and east way. This one happened around 2 00 a. M. At a store called gun outlet and pawn. And police tell us thieves were able to get inside of that store and they were able to get away with about 20 assault weapons. Now, police, again, they say they didnt make it into the stores here, but we just spoke with the owner about 15 minutes ago and he told us that they were able to cause a lot of damage in the back, thousands of dollars of damage when they tried slamming that car into the back of this Shopping Center.
