Zelensky inspected the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the frontline, where the largest number of ceasefire violations were recorded, where got acquainted with the situation, reports Xinhua news agency. The President noted that 26 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in the conflict in Donbass, which comprises the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, since the beginning of this year. GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Thursday received the first dose of COVID 19 vaccine when he was administered with the jab at Guwahati Medical College & Hospital.
After receiving the jab, Chief Minister Sonowal thanked the Central Government for making the vaccination doses available in the State. Talking to the media, he also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Health & Family Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan.

GUWAHATI: Forest Department personnel detained a suspected poacher from the Bhetapara area here on Wednesday night. The detention has been made on the request of West Bengal Forest department.
Sources informed that the poacher identified as Jamaluddin from Manipur lives in a rented place here. He plies a cab under Uber.
The case relates to the poaching of a rhinocerous in West Bengal on March 31, 2021. Sleuths zeroed down on Jamaluddin after his mobile phone was traced at the location of the incident in Bengal.
