New Delhi, Jan 28 (PTI) The JD(U) on Sunday blamed the Congress for the collapse of the INDIA bloc in Bihar, saying its leaders were interested in strengthening their party and not the opposition grouping.

JD(U) President and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar emphasized the use of Hindi in the INDIA alliance, which DMK leader T R Baalu said was tolerated for the alliance s cordiality. Baalu questioned the Chief Minister s plan and whether it would cause electoral damage. He cited a meeting where Kumar stressed the importance of Hindi, and the party tolerated the use of Hindi as a compromise.
