Opening the plenary session Thursday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made it a point to emphasise that Bihar had seen a “complete turnaround in recent years and its atmosphere is absolutely congenial to investment”.

More than 600 investors from 16 countries, of which 200 are from Bihar, would participate in the event, said additional chief secretary (industries) Sandeep Poundrik.
"We have held investors' meet in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Bengaluru.," said Bihar industry department's additional chief secretary Sandeep Pundrik.
