Big O Tires in Cheyenne Raised $5K for Friday Food Bag
Big O Tires in Cheyenne hosted their annual Driven for the Community holiday event from November 30th through December 20th. The event helped to raise funds for the Friday Food Bag Foundation. On January 15, 2021, Big O Tires was able to present a check to the Friday Food Bag Foundation for $5,000.
To help raise the funds for the foundation, Big O Tires would offer an oil change voucher to anyone that made a donation of $35 or more to the Friday Food Bag Foundation.
According to a press release, Jack Floyd, owner of Big O Tires in Cheyenne, had this to say about the event:
I got up this morning, was super pumped that it was Friday, opened the door to let the dogs out and my gate was unlatched and opened. I spent the last 20 minutes thinking we had a prowler. I texted my wife about it when I got to work and she got Doordash last night.Anyways, here are the trending stories for Friday.

SALT LAKE CITY â Not a lot of heavy storms plus people staying at home more because of the pandemic means way less people have faced winter driving conditions in Utah.
But with this weekend s storms moving in it, some people are nervous that many are not prepared for driving in snow.
One place that expects to see some influx of new work is West Valley Collision Repair.
âWe do see a lot of additional accidents once it snowsâ Bryan Ellison, Owner of West Valley Collision Repair says, âProbably going to be a little bit worse because a lot of people havenât been driving because of the pandemic.â

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. Leeds West Groups (LWG) has acquired three Big O Tires outlets in Oklahoma from MFA Oil Co., which continues to operate 19 Big O stores in Missouri and Arkansas.
LWG is taking over Big O stores in Enid, Mustang and Norman, Okla., expanding its network of Big O outlets to 31 locations in six states Colorado, Kentucky, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma and Texas.
Financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed. Separately, LWG is buying the real estate for the Norman store from MFA Oil, a Columbia, Mo.-based farm co-op whose primary business is oil distribution.

A new survey from J.D. Power found that saying hello and acknowledging customers upon arrival at an aftermarket service facility can improve customer satisfaction scores significantly, especially at full-service maintenance and repair, quick oil changes and tire replacement shops.
Those scores decline when customers wait more than three minutes before they re acknowledged, according to the J.D. Power 2021 U.S. Aftermarket Service Index StudySM fueled by SurveyMonkey, released Jan. 14.
