Jonathan Gresham defeated Jay Lethal in a ROH Pure Championship match (16:43)
Gresham and Lethal made their entrance together to celebrate the unity of The Foundation.
Lethal took Gresham to the mat and wrenched his ankle. Gresham escaped fast. He popped up quickly and locked arms with Lethal, and then took him to the mat with a headlock. Lethal tried to escape a few times but couldn’t muster it, so he used a rope break. This took us into a commercial break.
The Big Takeaway: Dak Draper defeated Fred Yehi, Tony Deppen upset ROH World Tag Team Champion Kenny King, and Flamita defeated Flip Gordon.
The broadcast began with Quinn McKay checking in from the studio. She previewed the three matches that are set to take place tonight and played a clip of Jay Lethal’s comments after winning the number one contendership to the ROH World Championship.
Lethal said despite losing the ROH Tag Team titles, he has a chance to redeem himself at the upcoming 19th Anniversary PPV. Lethal also hinted at the rest of The Foundation being involved in championship matches at the PPV, citing that they have a chance for a “gold sweep”.

The alleged attackers have not been confirmed, but Tom Lawlor and Team Filthy are the clear front runners. Lawlor and ACH met in the Opera Cup with Lawlor coming out on top, but the captain of Team Filthy was disgruntled ACH that received an MLW title shot before him despite him winning the tourney.
