Agreement, what happens . Theres no reason why there cant be an agreement. All were lacking is the political will to do so. Weve seen the iran the issue become resolved. Our issues are not more complicated than that. Well be here as long as it takes to get it done. Reporter could be here overnight overnight. Absolutely. Were not planning to leave until we have a deal. We have counsel members on Council Members on vacation. Reporter James Gonzalez of the poa saying things are not going well but they plan to stick it out. We also spoke to mayor sam liccardo. My experience has been as a litigator for ten years that every single day in this country there are cases being settled on courthouse steps as people are ready to go to trial. Reporter now the Police Department says it is just watching and waiting to see what happens tomorrow but says the start of any litigation process wont impact the police force, at least not right away. And even though the city council is on summer break, they pl
Affect the morning commute. Bust i in the days of traffic. Looks like started off to pretty rough start in some communities here, so weve got some thunderstorms coming through generally in clusters right now, for the most part finding them out toward new york city as well as into maryland. There is one cluster outside of philadelphia that we have a highlight for you. We start things off by actually facing west here, we will see if we get lucky maybe see lightning light up the sky over center city and off to the west as we overlook the ben franklin bridge. Sky scan three at the moment looking quiet. We do have some lightning out there. Thats reflect dollars on storm scan we just showed this view with the tristate sweep. Off to the west specifically out toward southern Chester County specially, you have got some lightning strikes firing up out there. That will eventually be rolling through philadelphia, looking here at three hour loop, so these have been moving on relatively quick clip.
But notice the lightning has start today diminish. Look at the difference in the temperatures as these clusters of storms have moved through. Youre 15 degrees of a surplus since the same time yesterday down into millville but that, too, will change, as this disturbance, and this front drops off to our south. And overall meisha looking at partly sunny day so the brunt is here right now. Yep, okay, thats what i was just going to ask you great news, i will tell you right here looking at the schuylkill expressway right here, moving in the westbound direction, looking so far so good. We know as it progresses, as this kind of sweeps over, this can definitely cause some slow downs. Here is a look at the onramp from Spring Garden to the schuylkill expressway westbound. Thats now open, yeah, but the off ramp is still closed until august 12th. Making note of that, also a look at 95 southbound at cottman just starting to see kind of sheen there we see headlight, thee travelers around the s curve
Really just pent up across this area, as we watch those storm clusters start to just move east with time. So eventually, shore points are going to get hit here. Meantime, we mention, some stronger storm weve got Severe Thunderstorm Warning posted until 6 30 this morning, specific to kent and new castle county, at least portions of those counties here, for heavy downpours damaging wind in excess potentially 06 Miles Per Hour as well as to up quarter size hail. We have already seen some hail report coming out of these clusters, here is another look for you at the storm scan3 tristate sweep. Sort of the snapshot of where the core of the heavy rain and lightning is currently just pent up here, again, ocean county Monmouth County, and then back along south about i95, into basically eastern maryland, but it is all headed east. So eventually, kent and new castle you will get in on. This if you havent already started to see the raindrops putting things into motion, this is three hour loop. So
Home tonight and thats an area that has the potential for severe storms later today and into the evening. Thats why we have the first alert out for that. There is the potential for some severe storms with damaging winds and maybe even a tornado or reports of large hail in parts of the area. The relative Severe Threat is relatively low for the flooding, but pretty high for lightning and high winds and a good bit higher than normal for hail, for example. That highest risk is for much of delaware and southern new jersey. The farther north and west you go, the lower the risk of any kind of storms, let alone severe storms. You can see the lull now is just nothing on the radar, but the future weather computers are suggesting we do get some buildups. Later this afternoon, after 2 00, 3 00 for the most part. Some of them very heavy and generally farther south. Theres one approaching the shore and then a few more later on this evening. But very little north and west of philadelphia. We are into
