president erdogan. it s going to be equally contentious. if you look at the relationship between biden and erdogan, they have long been at odds with one another. president trump had a good relationship with president erdogan but that has changed in a big way. you have president biden speaking out quite locally about president erdogan s move towards authoritarianism. at the same time you have big issues like turkey pulling away from nato, pulling away from europe. in fact he has not only said that he s becoming closer to russia but is also recently purchased the s400 missile defense system from him while at the same time still trying to buy an active fighter jets from the u.s. it s going to be fascinating to seal it out. a test run for the meeting but president putin and president biden have together. there s a lot of issues on the agenda. one of the ones we will be discussing is afghanistan. it s no secret that many nato countries do not want to pull out of afghanistan. president biden

sandra: congressman we await the president. as we await the president, going back to your words on china, here s the wall street journal headline this morning. who s on first? the g7 statement on covid origins, feckless multilateralism. there are obviously huge question heading into these meetings and especially when it comes to the origins of the covid pandemic. characterize for us what you have seen from the president so far. how you expect them to handle the meetings and what his message so far has been to these world leaders. i like to see more than just talk. i like to see action. all for working with our nato allies and g7 partners. president trump talked america first and i think it s important that we see concrete actions commodity summits and not just pleasantries. with respect to the comment on the w.h.o. the new york times article, i think it is spot on that we are repeating the same
