DepEd-5 achieves 100% vax rate among staff

LEGAZPI CITY- A total of 182 Department of Education staff in Bicol (DepEd-5) or 100 percent of its employees have been fully vaccinated, including with boosters shots, against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19). In a social media post on Wednesday, the regional office said the achievement is a result of their enthusiastic campaign about the importance of the Covid-19 vaccination. Moreover, a total of 69,706, or 93 percent of eligible DepEd-5 employees have received the vaccine from their respective local government units (LGU). The number includes all teaching and non-teaching personnel in the entire region. The agency's regional office has been continuously exerting effort to reach 100 percent coverage for its entire staff, especially since expanded face-to-face (F2F) classes are now being implemented.
