Our Correspondent Kohima, Oct. 20 (EMN): Kevizhakho Suokhrie dropped Azhalhou Kire twice to win the championship title in the lightweight division at the ongoing NagaWrestleMania-9 (King of the Ring Series 2022) on Thursday evening at IG Stadium complex in Kohima. Suokhrie won the championship belt along with INR 50,000 while Kire received INR 30,000. Mülüsü Veswüh and Seyiezhato Sano received INR 15,000 and INR 10,000 respectively. Our Correspondent Kohima, Oct. 21 (EMN):  Kezhaseluo-o Pienyü took down Menuosetuo Yiese in straight bouts to win the coveted heavyweight championship title at the ongoing NagaWrestleMania-9 King of the Ring Series on Friday evening at IG complex in Kohima. Pienyü lifted the championship belt along with a cash award of INR 50, 000 while Yiese received INR 30, 000 as runner-up. Our Correspondent Kohima, Oct. 17 (EMN): Three Chin wrestlers from United States — Biak Hmun Sang, Van Ceu Hmung and Uk Lian Thang — have arrived in the state capital to participate in the coveted Naga Wrestle Mania-9 King of the Ring Series 2022 scheduled to take place from October 20 to the 22nd at Hockey ground, IG Stadium complex in Kohima. The event is being presented by Vuto Hyundai and organised by 3E Nagaland under the aegis of Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA).
