Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) spokesperson Bhopal Singh on Thursday asked farmers protesting at the borders of the national capital to postpone the agitation against the Centre s farm laws, saying that they must stand with the nation during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
The farmers union body Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Friday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resume talks over the three farm laws that had sparked a farmers' agitation in several parts of the country since November 2020.

At a time when the nation is fighting the second wave of coronavirus, Bharatiya Kisan Union (Kisan Sarkar) spokesperson Bhopal Singh on Thursday appealed to protesting farmers to postpone their agitation for the time being saying we must be the nation in these difficult times.
