Summary
Soroti main market, which sits on approximately 2.5 acre piece of land, was awarded to Techno 3 Ltd at Shs27b. Its construction started in 2018 and has a capacity to accommodate more than 2,000 vendors. However, the transition to the new facility hangs in balance due to the unresolved disagreements over the modes of sharing the lock up spaces.
