Climate activists are blocking roads across Nottinghamshire in protest at the Government s inaction .
At 11am, sitting alone in the road, four critical junctions were blocked by residents expressing their fears about the lack of urgent climate action on the second anniversary of the Government declaring a Climate Emergency.
They were seen in Upper Parliament Street and Wheeler Gate, as well as in West Bridgford and Mapperley
A spokesperson for Extinction Rebellion said: Risking their lives, Pippa MacKeith a retired midwife, Jack Horner, Business Analyst, Picture-framer Tracy Neale, and Senior Animator Bertram Kemmler, stopped traffic in the town centre, West Bridgford and Mapperley.
