Plenty of work is going on behindthe scenes. A public works Spokesman Says crews have their assignments and they are watching to see what the weather does. In norfolk, crews are pretreating bridges and primary roads today. That will continue through the morning. The same is happening on the interstate. Vdot crews started pretreating the southside and peninsula roadways this morning. They say they want to make sure the evening commute tomorrow is a safe one. And in northeast North Carolina ncdot is getting ready to. Crews started applying brine in camden and Pasquotank County treating the highways ahead of the snow. Clouds will gradually increase overnight, so by the time you head out the door tomorrow morning, well be under mostly cloudy skies with temperatures starting in the low20s.
