Driver dies after veering off road and colliding with tree

The Barry County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident about 7 p.m. Sunday, April 4.
The 26-year-old driver veered off the road and collided with a tree, according to a press release issued by the sheriff’s office. The driver was heading northbound on Lockshore Road near West Hickory Road.
The woman was then transported to a Kalamazoo hospital where she died from her injuries.
