Chandler Esslinger and Jan Anderson laid out the metro area's homeless situation before the Fargo Human Rights Commission and Board of Health this past week.
Fargo City Administrator Mike Redlinger said the first step in working together to end homelessness in the area is the organization of "political alignments" between the cities and counties.
The commission voted to direct staff to draft a letter of intent for Mayor Bernie Dardis to begin negotiating "lease space" without publicly discussing the space in question.
