The Select Board recently approved a $30,000 loan to the Jamaican restaurant Island Flavor LLC to fund commercial kitchen equipment at their new location.
It is an effort of the Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC), which works with refugees in southern Vermont. The organization also has also runs the Multiculltural Center of Southern Vermont in Brattleboro.
