While others attended sunday services focused on the tragedy that shattered this tightknit community. Residents leaned on one another as they remembered the 20 first graders and six adults gunned down at sandy hook elementary school. We just all basically hugged each other and said it was going to be all right, well get past it. Reporter but one mass was cut short after someone called in a threat. I wasnt scared. I looked up, and i said, you know, if anything has to happen, protect the kids. Enough of them. Reporter as people here in newtown grieve investigators say they have the best of the best working to gather evidence so they can determine a motive for fridays shooting.
