Answers 14 hours after a mans vehicle was pulled from his vehicle which was in the Anacostia River. [inaudible] with more on the story reporter theres a whole lot of damage here on this dock, and it appears this is how the car entered the water, driving straight down the dock and tearing down all of these pilings before the vehicle flipped over into the water. Fire and rescue teams got the call just after 10 00 last night. The black hummer submerged in the Anacostia River the vehicle was overturned and sinking fast. You can barely make out a tire behind this yellow raft. Divers moved in quickly discovering the male driver did not make it. They worked in the darkness to pull the victim out of the back window while a search dog searched the surrounding land for evidence.
