KOTA KINABALU: A probe by an independent committee found that a misunderstanding between Beluran’s Nangoh health clinic staff and family members of a Covid-19 patient resulted in a viral Facebook post about the clinic's service.

BELURAN: A 50-year-old driver was killed after he lost control of his Nissan Frontier which overturned several times along Jalan Paitan, early Friday.
Beluran District Police Chief Supt. Kasim Muda said Mohd Syed Shahrin was believed to be heading towards Beluran from Paitan when the tragedy occurred at 4am.
“He is believed to have lost control while entering a curvy stretch, causing the four-wheel-drive to overturn several times before coming to a stop.

“The victim suffered injuries all over his body and head, and died on the spot,” he said, adding the victim s body was sent to Beluran Hospital for autopsy.
