Three people were arrested after beating and robbing two men at the CTA Belmont Red Line station early Wednesday the third night of violence near the Lake View train station.
The incident came after crowds filled the streets of Lake View following the Pride Parade Sunday evening with three people shot and four people stabbed.
A crowd of nearly 75 people gathered Sunday afternoon in Lakeview to march from the Belmont Red Line station to the AIDS Garden Chicago in support of abortion rights, gun control and ending racial injustice and oppression.
Police are trying to identify a man who allegedly stabbed and robbed a CTA passenger Monday at the Belmont Red Line station in the Lake View neighborhood.
