Taking a 200mile five hour detour around glendale canyon after a massive rockslide. The first rockslide was early in the morning. It had just gotten cleaned up when a larger slide in the exact same place started around 9 p. M. Just last night. 9news mountain newsroom reporter matt renoux joins us now. It could be as late as thursday before i70 is back open. Reporter youre right, mark, at least until thursday just hearing from cdot a few minutes ago and when it does open, it will be open in a limited capacity. This was a major rockslide, one of the biggest that anyone has seen in a long time. The damage was impressive. Two vehicles were hit. Luckily everyone is okay. It will be five hours to get there.
