Chair of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova hosted a meeting to discuss fur production at the Belarusian National Union of Consumer Societies (Belkoopsoyuz).
Roman Golovchenko said: “A third of the country's population use Belkoopsoyuz services. Particularly people, who live in the countryside, in small towns and population centers where there is often no alternative to the consumer cooperatives system."
The head of state was asked on how the situation in the rural areas can be rectified: the range of products in villages and even agrotowns is much worse than that in the Belarusian capital and even on the district scale, while Belcoopsouyz is giving up its positions to sole traders who think only about their own profit.
Belarusian companies are gearing up to present the country's export potential at the 6th China International Import Expo, which will be held in Shanghai from 5 to 10 November.
A number of changes have occurred in the sphere of management of the post-Chernobyl situation. Work on Chernobyl-related problems will continue but in an updated format. Gosatomnadzor representatives came to BelTA's press center to talk about the new approaches.
