Participants of the meeting discussed the possibility of setting up an enterprise to make high-tech packaging in Belarus, the business operation terms and the investment terms Belarus offers, the most suitable locations for the future enterprise, plans concerning future cooperation.
"All of this is achievable only with the efficient use of resources and a clear plan of action. For its part, the state is consistently taking measures to ensure the effective symbiosis of ‘economy-environment',” Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Tatiana Brantsevich said.
The agreement was signed by Belarusian Economy Minister Aleksandr Chervyakov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Belarus Xie Xiaoyong.
In line with the agreement the Chinese government will allocate technical and economic aid for carrying out studies as part of the project, which envisages building the second substation for supplying electricity to the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone.
In January-August 2022 Belarus' merchandise export reached $3.4 billion, 0.7% up from January-August 2021, which was one of the most successful periods in Belarus' foreign trade.
