Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko held a working meeting with outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Belarus Ulvi Bakhshaliyev on 4 December.
“Our work brings results precisely thanks to the integration cooperation of the countries and thanks to the formats of the EAEU, CIS, and SCO. Today, especially during the SCO meeting, all the heads of delegations sent a message about the spirit of multipolarity, the right of states to determine their own fate,” Igor Petrishenko said.
“The Russian ruble is leading in this part – it is objectively, given the size of the country's economy. Nevertheless, we think that other national currencies should be actively involved in the process of mutual settlements,” the deputy prime minister said.
“The parties paid special attention to ensure the loading of the Minsk-Pskov direct flight. It should become all-season, give impetus to the development of joint projects in tourism, direct business interaction,” the press service said.
The officials held a meeting at the Belarusian State University of Physical Education which is hosting the organizing committee and the media center for the 2nd CIS Games. The distinguished guest from Tajikistan was given a tour of the university and briefed on the university's capabilities.
