“The relations between Belarus and Azerbaijan, which are based on firm friendship between the leaders of our countries and the two brotherly nations, are of a strategic partnership. It is natural that the complicated global political situation has not had any negative impact on our relations,” said Igor Petrishenko.
“A one third increase in mutual trade within the EAEU is a huge achievement, especially amid the current sanctions. We have survived, and will go further supporting each other, including within the framework of cooperation projects,” the deputy prime minister said.
“Despite new geopolitical challenges, many partners may envy the dynamics of our interaction. Contacts continue at high and highest levels, including within international organizations and integration formats. This year the Belarusian prime minister paid a visit to Azerbaijan. The difficult global political situation has not had a negative impact on our relations. We have always supported each other in difficult times, and we keep this tradition,” said Igor Petrishenko.
Cholpon-Ata is hosting the EAEU and CIS Youth Forum on 25-26 August. The forum is attended by more than 200 delegates - young entrepreneurs, civil servants, representatives of creative young people, young diplomats and students from the EAEU and the CIS countries.
