Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Aleinik, Belarus' Ambassador to Russia Dmitry Krutoi, as well as St. Petersburg Vice Governor Valery Moskalenko laid flowers at the monuments and the Eternal Flame.
“We will again have a historic volume of mutual trade this year: up 9% for goods and another 6% with our construction, transportation, IT services. This year, the trade between our countries in services will exceed $5.5 billion,” Dmitry Krutoi said.
“Krasnodar Territory is Russia's leader in agricultural production. Harvesters and related machinery are very much in demand. Gomselmash and the Kuban harvester factory in Ust-Labinsk are implementing a joint project to assemble harvesters and harvester-threshers,” he said.
According to the ambassador, the creation of joint production facilities is region-specific. “Things are much more complicated in the Far East in this regard. Here we need cooperation or collaboration between development institutions and enterprises,” he noted.
The corresponding decree is expected to be signed in the near future. It is still unknown how exactly the commission will be called, but it will be headed by Dmitry Krutoi.
