Flossmoor and the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District hosted a Park Place Holiday Pop-Up in the park’s field house to give people without brick-and-mortar stores a chance to sell their wares.

AgAwareBC, a non-profit group dedicated to farmers and ranchers, knows all about the concept of food, and they are applying that knowledge to new thoughts about the provincial harvest. They are doing it through the arts writing, performing, drawing. Their annual competition has just wrapped up and Prince George participants have come away with some of the honours.
The Bel Canto Children’s Choir won top honours in the Children’s Choir category while the White Spruce City Chorus (of Sweet Adeline’s) picked up the top prize for the Community Choir category.

The Fort George Baptist Church presents Sounds of Music and Dessert Evening, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21. Come for an evening of musical enjoyment featuring musicians from Fort George Baptist and special guests from the community. Reception with dessert and coffee to follow. Admission is free or by donation to the Fort George Baptist music program.
