Noted Indian singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, 53, popularly known as KK, passed away on Tuesday night after falling ill while performing at a concert in Kolkata. The acclaimed singer was born in Delhi on 23 August, 1968. KK’s musical journey began the day he listened to his mother’s Malayali songs while studying, recorded by his father within a little tape recorder.
Actor Emraan Hashmi on Wednesday, while condoling the sudden demise of singer-composer KK, stated, Working on the songs he sang was always that much more special.
