Becker County commissioners on Tuesday agreed to spend a little over $235,000 to digitize those big books a project that will finish a decades-long, off-and-on digitization effort in the Becker County Recorder’s Office.
The deputy recorder, who has worked in the Becker County Recorder’s Office for 31 years, said she shared with her staff Wednesday that she plans to retire in February.
Lakeside Tavern has been sold to Lake Life Hospitality president and CEO Cole Hanson confirmed the sale following a public hearing at Tuesday night's Detroit Lakes City Council, regarding a Dec. 16 application from Hanson Properties of Lakeside LLC doing business as Lakeside Tavern for an on-sale intoxicating liquor license and Sunday liquor license.
