The city will officially be recognized at 54th annual Keep Texas Beautiful conference in June.
Keep Nolanville Beautiful was founded in 2015 a as an environmental advocacy and action committee to preserve and improve the community and enhance the quality of life in Nolanville, according to Kerry Fillip of Keep Nolanville Beautiful.
Gold Star recognition is the highest status an affiliate can receive, a news release said.
In 2004, Gold Star recognition began for communities that go above and beyond the requirements, which include submitting a report, paying dues, attending training and participating in a KTB-endorsed event.

Keep Texas Beautiful, a statewide grassroots environmental and community improvement non-profit organization, recently named Chandler a Gold Star Affiliate, the highest status any community affiliate can achieve.
âThe KCB volunteer support has been an invaluable resource for clean-ups, recycling and educating the public,â Mayor Libby Fulgham said. âSmall cities like Chandler are able to maintain a higher quality of life for local residents because of their projects.â
Since 2017, Keep Chandler Beautiful has achieved Silver Star and Gold Star recognitions from the state. They have received a GCAA award in 2001 and have placed 2nd in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Chandler is a Go Texan Certified Retirement Community providing access to multiple parks, health care facilities and local shopping opportunities for residents.
