Storms roll through, roberta. It was really exciting. It was very exciting because we had a couple different elements going on. First the cold front and then all that subtropical moisture and when they came together, it produced one of the biggest storms of the year. You had to go back to march 11 to find something with significant rainfall like what we experienced yesterday. And, um, it looks like yesterday we did see up to 7 inches of rain in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Wow. We saw up to 9 inches of rain in the venado area, which is a little suburb and thats just about 11 miles west of healdsburg. The computer is giving me some problems and i have to go back and requeue it. So if you want to take a look at it now you know what . I had to reboot this computer a couple of times yesterday because it was the hardest working computer in the entire west coast. [ laughter ] it really was. Not to fall over the branches over here. Thats not the only mess in the bay area. In Portola Valley firefighters got a call about 1 30 a. M. A tree fell on a home over there forcing one person who lives inside outside. No one was hurt in either incident. So back out here, so yesterdays storm, leaving behind a mess, Power Outages and downed trees. No one was hurt.
