The bear fire has grown to 271 acres. Right now it is 5 contained. 600 firefighters are on the fire line in Santa Cruz County. 150 homes are threatened. The fire started around 10 30 pm when a house caught fire in boulder creek. Paul chambers is near the fire lines right now. Several firefighters have been hurt. Reporter that is correct.
