Were told that search and rescue teams will be working in the avalanche area. And this from the caltrans cameras near the entrance to Alpine Meadows resort. You can see the roads are mostly clear. It was a wall of snow and ice that dropped from some 700 feet above the Northeast Area of alpine. It took out one chair lift and damaged others. It buried structures including the main lodge.
