A few 60s. Leaving behind 60s, 70s by water. 80s, 90s inland. Sal, 7 01. What do you have . I have a macarthur maze issue, steve. I wanted to show you the macarthur maze and the bay bridge toll plaza because we have a commute that has become very slow. One of the reasons why its become slow, there were a couple of earlier incidents on the bridge on the San Francisco side of the span that were cleared, but the traffic is very slow. Its slower than usual. Look at that stopandgo traffic. Thats a sign the metering lights were on, very slow at the toll plaza bees and toll plaza, and you are waiting for a bit. If you are in one of the regular cash lanes, it varies of course. This is a terrible commute into San Francisco. The accidents were not that serious, but they caused delays. These delays tend to multiply as the morning goes on. A live look now from our toll plaza camera, and you can see the traffic is not moving very well through this area at all. We have been taking a close look at th
I swear, its a tough pattern to say how is it going to change. 50s and 60s on the temps. Mainly 50s. Today looks to be similar to yesterday. 60s, 70s, 80s, and a couple 90s for the usually suspects. Sal, did i tell you theres fog by the caldicott. I heard you. Were the odd couple. Clean up after yourself. I know its messy. Good morning, thank you, steve. Steve did mention it and all kidding aside you might want to leave extra time because of the patchy fog. And well be following it for you. This is 580 westbound from tracy to the livermore area. Were looking at the tracy super commute and its not a bad commute. Looks like a nice drive on 580 into the livermore area with no major issues all the way to the dublin interchange. And were looking at live pictures for you. This is a look at the bay bridge. You can see the fog in the background there. So just keep that in mind if youre traveling early. And the morning commute is going to be okay if youre driving in san jose. That one is clear.
60s. It was 96 yesterday. The averse yesterday viewing is spectacular. There you go. Get away from the fog and the city lights and you should have no problem. The fog is going to play back to the coast and the delta breeze is okay. It hasnt collapsed or anything. 50s on the temps, and low 60s on the peninsula. And theres not much of a change here. All the activity continues to be to the east. And the fog is there for the coast. 60s, 70s, a couple of 80s. Heres sal now. Good morning. We are looking at the bay bridge toll plaza and we do see a lot of slow traffic out there. Good morning to you. If youre about to hit the road were in the middle of the commute hey. And this is a 20minute delay. No problems on the span. Just a normal looking commute. And also looking at interstate 880 Oakland North and southbound. The traffic looks good. And slower south into hayward and down to the silicon valley. The Altamont Pass and 580 trying to get over the hill we had a couple of earlier problems. Mo
This city. Imagine what we can to if we pool resources and push in the same direction. Reporter acting police chief Toney Chaplin reached out to clergy members from across the city as he spoke to San Franciscos influential Interfaith Council. You will remember that back in june the Police Commission and the police union agreed to a series of new rules dealing with use of force, and those reforms are focused mainly on deescalation. The chief says that officers are using time and distance during dangerous encounters and he pointed to a Police Standoff just last month with an armed man on Market Street that came to a peaceful conclusion. These officers would have been perfectly justified in shooting this individual, but they didnt. They embraced the training, the new mantra of trying to make sure that not just the officers make it home tonight, but everyone does. Reporter now, chaplin took over as acting chief three months ago after former chief greg suhr was forced out. This was in may f
