It all started around 11 15 thursday night when a car was reported stolen out of alameda county. An officer tried to do a traffic stop on highway 24 but the suspect sped away and drove to the bay fair b. A. R. T. Station where he left the car and ran along the tracks. Chp helicopter spotted the suspect trying to hide from officers. He surrendered and was arrested. He has been identified as Joseph Willis and is being held without bail.
