The overnight fire wiped out a building and destroyed at least nine businesses. Establishments including a popular Italian Restaurant and the chamber of commerce as well. The building yet because you can see from the looks here the building has received a lot of damage and not stable enough for them to start the work to figure out what the cause of the fire was or where it began. They have not been able to do that after it was pretty much destroyed by the fire. Reporter the orange glow the flames from this fire at 100 lafayette circle could be seen from miles away and firefighters rushed to keep the flames from spreading and the weather conditions worked in their favor. I could see the embers from the fire from a few miles out so that is significant, a very large imber cast, thats what we call it. Because there was no wind it was going straight back up and coming straight back down. We begin with that breaking news out of Sonoma County, the crash happened before 1 00 p. M. Today near the sonoma sky park airport. A single engine plane crashed just west of the airport. One person was killed in the crash, we are on the scene where officials are investigating. Tom .
