Work to create an accessible footpath behind the Bastion Gardens north stand is being carried out as part of the Seasiders’ application for FAW Tier 2 Club Licensing, which state that grounds must be safe and accessible. The JD Cymru North League club has acquired equipment including a digger, dumper and a skip following donations from fans and supporters, while volunteers have helped to carry out the work over recent weeks. Andy Ruscoe, Prestatyn Town FC general manager, said: The back of the stand had become overgrown and we wanted to create footpath. We have managed to raise money to hire a digger, people have donated skips and offered to lay concrete. There is a good buzz around the club.
