Three people tested positive for cholera in Tagadur village in Nanjangud taluk of the district between May 10 and 18. A total of 114 cases of diarrhoea were reported from this village. Health department data shows that among the 114 who fell ill, 20 are children. Measures taken include shutting down borewells and deploying medical staff at the community health centre.
