COLOMBO (News 1st); A 03 month old infant was among the 26 COVID-19 deaths confirmed by the Director General of Health Services on Monday (10).
These fatalities were reported from the 03rd of May to 10th of May 2021, and the total number of fatalities in Sri Lanka climbed to 827.
The deceased were from Galle, Hettipola, Pallewela, Kandy, Mathugama, Padukka, Nebada (02) , Jaffna (02), Meegahagoda, Kalutara (02) , Akuressa, Moronthuduwa, Anuradhapura, Colombo 06, Kaluaggala, Moratuwa, Malwana, Borella, Colombo 15, Kandana, Maswela, Wattegama, Malabe.
1. The deceased is a 66 year old female resident in Galle. She died on 09.05.2021 in her residence. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia.

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Director General of Health Services today confirmed 22 deaths that occurred from 2nd to 08th May, due to Covid-19 virus infection on Saturday (08). Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 786.
01. The deceased is a 72 year old male resident in Ragama. He died on 04.05.2021 while undergoing treatments in National Hospital Colombo. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia.
02. The deceased is a 66 year old male resident in Kadawatha. He died on 04.05.2021 while undergoing treatments in National Hospital Colombo. The cause of death is mentioned as a heart attack and Covid infection.
