Iowa has too many roads for future needs. That assessment comes from department of transportation director paul trombinin. Trombino says the current Transportation System will shrink. Travel is changing over time and so will the number of roads, bridges and rails. Trombino doesnt believe iowa can afford to road miles and 25thousand bridges. Police say a man killed his wife and 16 year old daughter with a gun and then turned it on himself. Police were called out the 2400 hundred block of hull avenue in des moines around 7 oclock on sunday night. They believed 47yearold Barney Fraaken killed the two at their home, hes in the hospital with a selfinflicted gunshotwound. Police say he shot and killed 42yearold amy fraaken and 16yearold amber fraaken. His step son told kccitv he believes the shooting is related to the coupls marital problems.
