Andrew Pilch Jr., 71, of Weeki Wachee, Fla., entered eternal rest Monday, Feb. 8, 2021.
Andy was born Dec. 9, 1949, in Wilkes Barre, the son of the late Andrew Pilch Sr. and Josephine Skoronski Pilch. He was a 1967 graduate of GAR High School and proceeded to work as a welder at Sterling Products Manufacturing, Wilkes-Barre. He was a former resident of West Wyoming for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Gerri Burgio-Pilch; siblings, Barbara Myzick; David Pilch; and Rosemarie Pilch; and his five children; two stepchildren; 13 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Andrew was a strong, patient, determined man. He referred to his adoptive home of Florida as, âMy Paradise.â He was a collector of many things, including model cars, baseball cards and music. Music was the light of his heart and he even owned a small record store at one point in his life. Andy possessed a strong faith in God and he read the Bible often. He would love to reminisce
