Spirit Lake, IA (KICD)– The Dickinson County Supervisors had a discussion revolving around whether or not masks should still be required when inside the courthouse.
The sometimes heated discussion was brought forward by local resident Barb Clayton who made it clear to the board she thinks it is time for the mandate to go.
Supervisor Tim Fairchild disagreed with Clayton’s thoughts saying now may not be the time to make masks optional.
Supervisor Jeff Thee added the political divide with the pandemic makes issues like mask requirements that much more difficult to deal with on a local level.
