BACOLOD CITY - Anti-drug operatives of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) seized PHP7.1 million worth of shabu and arrested 46 drug personalities in August, data of the local police on Friday showed. Col. Thomas Joseph Martir, city police chief, said in a statement the campaign against drugs and other forms of criminality, coupled with focused police operations, are the top priority of the BCPO. "We continue to heighten police operations, giving emphasis on crime prevention," he said. From August 1 to 31, drug enforcement teams recovered a total of 1,045.8 grams of shabu worth PHP6,800 per gram, with a total value of PHP7.111 million.
