January 07, 2021 MOTORISTS from southern Cebu who plan to visit Cebu City this weekend should plan their trips beforehand.
This after Talisay City Mayor Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas Jr. announced that the Cebu City-bound lane of the Mananga Bridge in Barangay Tabunok will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021 to 5 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 11.
The closure of the bridge’s northbound lane is due to retrofitting and strengthening works that will be conducted by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) 7 to help improve its stability.

Gullas said they will implement measures to ensure traffic in the area will not be disrupted.
