A workshop on basic digital and financial literacy was launched yesterday to enable 3,000 female entrepreneurs of a UNDP marketplace to efficiently operate and expand their business online.
The government is set to launch the Interoperable Digital Transaction Platform (IDTP) in January next year, allowing people to move funds effortlessly within the financial sector in real-time and at lower costs, said Zunaid Ahmed Palak, state minister for ICT.
Anondomela, an online marketplace of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for entrepreneurs, has started capacity building training for 3,000 women from 40 districts in Bangladesh.
