Now, in an effort to help pedestrians walk across roads without any hassles and reduce fatalities, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike ( BBMP) has embarked on constructing 224 pedestrian crossings across the city. The Bangalore Traffic Police have identified locations where the pedestrian crossings are required for the safety of those on foot.
